Andrew is 53 has been married to Briony for 23 years and took up the tenor saxophone, his first ever instrument, 10 years ago. He works as a Timber Sales Supervisor for Jewsons of Exeter. Briony is a lot younger than Andrew and coincidentally has been married to him for 23 years.
After many years choral singing, she got fed up with being a band widow and, seven years ago, made the mistake of choosing the most difficult of woodwind instruments, the oboe. Briony 'retired' in 2000 and now has many commitments in Otterton as well as looking after the home, Andrew's stomach and their dogs (although not necessarily in that order), two border collies (Jiff & Dazz) and a black labrador (Sadie) they inherited from Andrew's mother.
