Sarah was born in the midlands where she
stayed until she left school. Next stop was Newcastle upon Tyne
where she studied Psychology with a sprinkling of Archaeology
and Geology - three years later she was qualified to dig up old
rocks and psychoanalyse them - the perfect prerequisite to joining
the Navy. However the life of a communications WRN soon became
dull, about as interesting as flogging shoes in Ilkeston Co-op,
which funnily enough is exactly what she did next.
When brief flirtations with Dolphin Showers and Instaflow Showers
left her with a minus salary and a tax bill she settled on three
years with the Nottingham Evening Post selling advertising. On
leaving the 'Post' she became a Sales Rep and Sales Trainer with
Rothmans UK Ltd, moved down south and the rest is history.
Musically she plays sax (with a smattering of keyboards but not
at the same time otherwise she would be a millionaire by now)
and spent 5 years as a backing singer in a friends' band.
