Sheila taught herself to play the clarinet 10 years ago and joined Exmouth Town Band 9 years ago. The main reason Sheila learnt to play was so that she would have the same interest as her husband who plays the Trombone in the Band. Sheila now plays 2nd Clarinet and found all the other members of the band to be very friendly and helpful and has a good social side to the band
